Progress on the Dormitories

Finishing up the courtyard:
A view from the administration block (presently under construction; when completed, it will be a five story building housing the administrations of the high school, vocational training college, and teachers training college.)

A view to the open end of the courtyard.

One of the laundry rooms (4 in each dorm with 10 sinks in each). Yep, laundry is done by hand and will be dried in the courtyards.

Keeping a Lid on It!

It is not so easy to keep one's roof in place when the wind is as strong as it is here in Dodoma. Here are some local roofs.

Paint and Windows

The progress on the classrooms is speeding up! I'm happy with our colour choices.

Biodigester

Here are recent pictures so you can see the recent progress on the biodigester -- looking backwards in time. The next step? To send a skinny person into the structure to disassemble the forms and send them out piece by piece. Included is a photograph of the final water filtration -- the wastewater is being reclaimed for the irrigation of trees and grass.
